Meet the author: Debbie Brown
Welcome, friend. Pull up a chair and share a cup, while we sit and talk a spell.

As primarily a YA author, I deal with readers anywhere from 10 (officially my youngest) to any young-at-heart adult, with a touch of imagination. As an author, I have had great pleasure in connecting with many, many more authors, all somewhere along the beaten path from writing to publishing and marketing. The decision to create this page came after a somewhat uncomfortable situation, and where the uncomfortable situation arises, is here: Although I am more than happy to help promote fellow authors, I personally do not read horror, overly graphic violence or overly detailed bedroom scenes. Some of the people I have connected with are simply amazing, but their choice of genre goes against both my own, and my YA audience. I would be more at ease hosting some of these authors (the not-so-graphic ones, yet still not quite YA friendly), away from my YA blog, so I will post reviews on the GMTA Blog , Goodreads and Amazon. I wish to remain family friendly, and I ask that you not seek me out to be hosted if your material is inappropriate. I will continue to support and promote my fellow authors as best I can, while respecting myself and my followers as well.
Amethyst Eyes, the Final Chapter is here!

Makeover Time!
My publisher, Kitty Bullard, of Ravenswood Publishing, has literally OUTDONE herself this time. She had s given new life to my books, by redoing all the cover art. She did an AMAZING job!

Snow Job is here!
The official release was for October 15th 2015, you can get paperback copies through Amazon!
To date, all my novels have had a sci-fi theme, and 3 out of four were YA. This one is neither. Here is the blurb: When NY divorce lawyer, Sarah Lindquist, stepped out of her office to clear her mind before her next client showed up, the last thing she expected was to come to in the middle of the Colorado Rockies, with two park rangers standing over her. The ex-military rangers are convinced someone wants her out of the way, but how to find out who, without putting her life at risk and letting that 'someone' know they've missed the target? Now nowhere in there do you get the impression that there is a romance theme to this novel, but it's there. So I am not sure if it should fall into woman's fiction, or romance, um, action-adventure romance? How about this...YOU read it, and let me know what you think it is...OK? |
